UTTARAN TRUST
‘UTTARAN TRUST’ is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of spreading quality and holistic education in the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences along with fostering the idea of human development in its totality. The Trust emphasizes upon the broader role played by the Humanities and Social Sciences not only in the disciplines traditionally associated with them, but also spreads into the domain of Science and Technology which is after all a creation of the human mind and consciousness. This is the root objective behind the concept of ‘inclusive learning’ which lies at the foundational base of our educational programme. The Uttaran Trust is devoted to an all-round development of the society with the foundational principle of Indian philosophy of spirituality. Currently, the trust has based its activities in the rural area of Bhitarkhola, near Baihata Chariali with its two wings functioning from this year, the Jyotibharati Jatiya Vidyapeeth and the Jyotibharati Institute of Education and Research. The trust has also endeavored to establish the ‘Alokdham’, which will be the spiritual center in its premise. The Uttaran Trust was established in 2014 with Prof. Dilip Borah of Gauhati University as the chairman cum managing trustee and includes prof. Anuradha Sarma, prof. Mukul Chakrabarty of Gauhati University, Dr. Taizuddin Ahmed of Pratikha Hospital and Mr. Akhil Sarma, a retired Government officer as the member trustees.

ASHRAYA
Aashroy is a unit established under the Uttaran Trust which, among other activities, is working for the uplift and betterment of the poor and needy students from the rural areas of Assam. Presently Ashroy is providing facilities for 35 students from tribal and marginal communities. We are also running an Assamese medium school, and this academic programme is directed towards framing a sustainable roadmap for the overall holistic development of these students. A significant number of the students enrolled in the school are provided accommodation within the campus, so as to facilitate round-the-clock care and supervision for their growth and development.

JYOTIBHARATI JATIYA VIDYAPEETH
Jyotibharati Jatiya Vidyapeeth is affiliated to SEBA & the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Our teachers are carefully selected to ensure that they have the experience and dedication needed to support every student regardless of his/her academic level. Required teacher’s training is held to ensure that teachers are fully informed of the latest research and developments in education. Our aim is to ensure that each student has the support required to fulfill his or her academic potential and they develop into confident, competent and compassionate global citizens through quality education imbibing Indian values.

JYOTIBHARATI INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
Jyotibharati Institute of Education and Research is committed towards the dissemination of human values and ethics within the higher education sector of the state of Assam and the country at large. The focus of the institute is to offer courses beginning at the degree-level, with special emphasis on encouraging interdisciplinary studies and research on academic as well as contemporary socio-cultural issues. Due importance will also be given to skill-based and vocational education. The institution will also endeavor to provide suitable preparatory guidance for different competitive examinations.

MARGINAL VOICE
Marginal Voice (ISSN-0976-853X) is a multilingual journal for Arts and Humanities Studies. It was published from 2013 by NIENAD as a bilingual research journal. From 2022, Marginal Voice started publish as a multilingual journal under Jyotibharati Institute of Higher Education and Research. It covers Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, English, Hindi, Tamil under a group of national & international advisor and reviewer. It publishes biannual with an excellence of research.

INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR PEACE, CONFLICT & CULTURE STUDIES
International Centre for Peace, Conflict & Culture Studies _ICPCCS is a centre, formed under Jyotibharati Institute of Education & Research with a group of international academician & peace activist. ICPCCS initiates action for encouraging peace studies within intellectual arena of the Asian continent. The main motto of this centre is minimizing conflicts and cultural extinction through intellectual practice. It is also formed an anti-discourse against conflicts and instead work towards the promotion of peace and humanity through vigorous cultural and academic activities. The centre regularly organized Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums, Round Table Discussions, Public Lectures, etc for ensuring peace and harmony in the society.
